And already, for some, it feels familiar.
- The resentment felt after December's argument still festers.
- You still hate your job/partner/weight/life.
- January is still a long month to get through financially.
- Nine days in and your sex life is still not living up to the promise that Xmas and New Year suggested.
- You're still unhappy.
And yet, you do nothing about it.
Finance? If you can't afford a therapist, there are plenty of good self-help books out there. And whilst you ponder the cost of therapy, think about the cost emotionally and physically of living in unhappiness.
No time? If you have time to watch the news or a soap opera, and ingest all that negativity, you have time to self-develop. If two people want to save a relationship, do you know that even one person, working on his or her own self-development can turn that relationship around?
